Son of an immigrant mother, Jay R. grew up in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in the capital of entertainment, he naturally grew a love for music.
Through the hard times in life, Jay R. found a gift in writing since the age of 8. Which he took seriously in 2020 with his first studio single, “Out the Mud”, which remains unreleased to date.
