Son of an immigrant mother, Jay R. grew up in Los Angeles. Growing up in the capital of entertainment, he naturally grew an appreciation for music and art.
Through the hard times in life, Jay R. found a gift in writing since the age of 8, which he finally took seriously in 2020 with his first studio single, “Out the Mud”, which remains unreleased.
